Hi! I'm Alisha
I've been in the accounting field for 13 years and have a Master's Degree in Accounting from Liberty University and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Rio Grande. My background is governmental, non-profit and small business accounting and financial statement preparation. If you need someone to put together financial statements and explain them in a way you can understand, I'm your girl!
I grew up in Vinton County, graduated in 2005, and moved to Chillicothe in 2011 where I live with my husband and two boys, Miles (12) and Aiden (10). Currently, I teach Sunday School to 3rd - 5th graders and was my church's treasurer for 10 years.
We began First Capital Bookkeeping with a vision to help business owners have timely accurate financial data, but I'm finding a lot of business owners just need help wrangling the chaos of running a business. Business owners just want to do what they do best and leave the tracking, reporting, and organization to someone else. That's why we're here!

I have spent in the past 7.5 years working with some of the finest business people of Chillicothe, specifically realtors and lenders. I have a Masters Degree in Education and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, both from Liberty University.
My expertise is producing timely, accurate data. If you need someone to track down information, get the information documented and ensure the work gets done, I'm the one to call. I love a job well done and won't stop until I know everything is complete and correct.
I am also native to Vinton County and graduated in 2004. I lived in North Carolina for a couple of years before settling in Chillicothe in 2012. I live with my husband, Zach, and our son, Tucker, and teach Sunday School for middle school students at my church.
